The Windermere community is located in Rockville, MD in the heart of Montgomery County between I-270 and Tuckerman Lane. The aproximately 40 year old community has over 220 four and five-bedroom single family homes sitting on 1/4 acre plus lots. Over the past year 5 of these homes have sold ranging from $850,000 to over $1.1 million.
Students living in Windermere go to some of Montgomery County's best public schools which include Luxmanor Elementary, Tilden Middle and Walter Johnson High School. Walter Johnson HS is ranked 5th within Maryland public schools and has a very strong Advanced Placement (AP) program.
The community also has the use of 2 additional public pools near by for its residents to join, Tilden Woods and The Montgomery County Aquatic Center.
